When I saw the picture of the berry dessert, it was reminiscent of my mom’s pie stuffed with mulberries. In the 1960s, 70s of Qld nearly everyone had a huge backyard and many had Mulberry trees, and sometimes macadamia and mango trees. Fresh mulberry pie topped with whip cream was a sought-after seasonal treat when the mulberries changed to deep purple.

As a non-meat eater, one thing that I don’t like at times is sausage rolls when I go to a party. This recipe looks delicious, and the olive oil-based pastry is certain to become the go-to recipe for a variety of other recipes.
