In Ireland, the pub is the preferred place for gatherings among all the locals. It’s where everyone gets to meet–a significant gathering place for the community.

I was first introduced to Teaneck’s Cottage Bar by a colleague. He’s named Anthony and has an incredible taste in food and sci-fi novels. Like many authors, I was acquainted with this charming small pub while with a group of authors. Let’s discuss why you’ll be awestruck by this establishment.

Cozy, Homey, Down-to-Earth, And Irish

Irish pubs have a particular “je ne sais quoi” that makes them feel welcoming and comfortable even if your house isn’t like it. It could be because of the darker woods they choose to use. Warm reds? The copper and green accents? It’s challenging to answer, But at the Cottage, it’s almost guaranteed that you feel more comfortable just when you walk in the door.

The experience of a traditional Irish pub is challenging, even in a popular foodie spot like North Jersey. There’s no doubt about it, but. It’s not a fake “faux-Ireland” vibe like what you’ll find in the Kilt Tilted. Nope. It’s run and owned by natives of the Emerald Isle. They’re also blessed with that wicked sense of humor that everyone loves.

Affordable (And Delicious) Drinks

So, I was a regular there before I got sober. I’m still there after I have been heavy, too. I’ll tell you a fact: They can serve a great beer. If you’re seeking the complete Irish feel, I’d suggest doing you a Guinness or Smithwick’s. It’s great stuff.

The drinks here are affordable, and you won’t need to shell out for a hefty price. The cost of a drink for your group is quite simple here. It’s part of the fun and also the fact that it’s an authentic Irish pub.
